Film to document Sand Creek Massacre

Colorado filmmaker Don Vasicek is planning a documentary of the Sand Creek Massacre.

Vasicek will be working with historians and a descendant of the Cheyenne who were massacred by Army forces in 1864. Diane Carman of The Denver Post said production will start by the end of this year after money is raised for the non-profit venture.
