MONDAY, APRIL 1, 2002

The 20th annual Montana Wyoming Indian Education Association Conference starts this Saturday in Great Falls, Montana.

Hot topics include the Bush administration's proposal to privative failing Bureau of Indian Affairs schools. Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb is expected to announce consultation meetings to address the issue.

The conference runs April 6-8.
