In an attempt to protect a set of 4,000-year-old Indian petroglyphs, the owner of the property on which they sit has covered the famous artifacts up with a tarp.

Valerie Earl said too many visitors were passing by her property on the Snake River in Idaho. She said the impact was threatening the future of the petroglyphs and their spirit.

River boat tours boast a view of the petroglyphs.
