MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2002 A unique program at Connecticut College is aimed at making sure the indigenous roots and people of Latin America don't go unnoticed. Hispanic culture contains elements of Native culture but these are often ignored, say scholars at the school. Native people themselves are also disregarded, they say. To help overcome this block, the school is producing a CD-ROM focusing on Native cultures in Central and South America. Get the Story:
