Minn. tribe kicks off scholarship fund

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2001 The Shakopee Mdewankanton Sioux Community of Minnesota has kicked of a nationwide scholarship funding drive with a $900,000 donation to the American Indian College Fund. The AICF will use the money to establish a scholarship fund for Native students. In total, AICF wants to raise $10 million. Get the Story:
