Spokane ancestor discovered at site

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2001 Officials of the Spokane Tribe are reburying a human skull that was found at a known historic Spokane site. The skull of a woman was discovered at a fishing site used historically, said Louis Wynne, historic preservation officer for the tribe. Wynee said an archaeologist determined the skull was an ancestor. Get the Story:
