Members of the Otoe-Missouria Tribes, a Nebraska county and others are using a $1,000 grant to start preserving the history of the former Oto-Missouria Reservation in Nebraska.

The reservation was established for the Oto and Missouria tribes in 1854. It was terminated in 1881 when the federal government removed the tribes to Oklahoma.

The only remnant of the reservation is the Mission School, which has been converted into a farm house.
