Education funding sought in Neb.

Educators and tribal leaders in Nebraska on Monday expressed support for Legislative Bill 478, which would increase state aid to public schools with the greatest poverty.

The bill would send more money to schools on the state's reservations. But educators are worried that the slumping economy will hurt the bill's chances of passing.
