Tribal museum gets Lewis & Clark grant

The Yakama Nation museum in Toppenish, Washington, will use a $30,000 grant to build a permanent exhibit, web site and brochure about the Lewis and Clark expedition.

The museum will be focusing on the contributions tribes made to the explorers. The tribal perspective on the expedition will also be presented.
