Park Service names tribal liaison

MONDAY, AUGUST 6, 2001

The National Park Service has named Otis Halfmoon as tribal liaison for the upcoming bicentennial commemoration of the Lewis and Clark's journey to the Pacific.

In his position, Halfmoon will work with tribes to make sure the Indian viewpoint is told during the upcoming events, which are planned from 2003 to 2006.
