AUGUST 24, 2000 Children of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut were among the first to view a new claymation film about the Little People, a celebrated part of Mohegan culture. The "Gift of the Little People" is an adaptation of the book "Makiawisug: The Gift of the Little People" and tells one story about the spirits who live in the undergrounds of the woods. The tribe is seeing if it can sell the film to a distributor or network, such as HBO or Nickelodeon. Get the Story:
