University of North Dakota officials say the cost of a new arena will eat up "Fighting Sioux" advocate Ralph Engelstad's entire $100 million donation.

Engelstad is an alumnus who donated $100 million to the school for the hockey arena. It was expected there would be money left over but some of his demands have led to the escalating cost of the arena.

Engelstad threatened to leave the arena unfinished if the school dropped its controversial "Fighting Sioux" nickname and logo. The state board of higher education voted to keep it.
