The Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota will be the site of the last major event of the bicentennial commemoration of the journey of explorers Lewis and Clark.

After reaching their journey's end at the Pacific, the explorers in 1806 returned to New Town, located on the reservation. The reservation is home to the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation.
