Iceman died of arrow hit say scientists

THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2001 A team of Italian scientists on Wednesday said a 5,300-year-old man who was discovered 10 years ago died from massive bleeding as a result of being shot by an arrow. Nickanmed the "Iceman" because he was discovered frozen, researchers at first thought he died of natural causes. But using a type of x-ray analysis, they found an arrowhead buried in his upper left shoulder and said he must have died in a war, battle or in some sort of fued. Get the Story:
