Wayne Trottier is the first Native American superintendent in the Plummer/Worley School District in Idaho.

Trottier, Standing Rock Sioux / Turtle Mountain Ojibwe, oversees a three-school district where half of the students are Native. He hopes to become a very visible superintendent, becoming more involved in the classroom, renovating schools, and working on improving student behavior.
