JUNE 22, 2000 Michael Terry, a Seminole actor who has appeared in several films including "Dances With Wolves" and "Last of the Mohicans," also doubles as an expert on Plains culture, speaking at museums and conversing with ordinary Americans about Indians. Through his presentations, he hopes to dispel stereotypes, particularly about the Plains. Along with 50 other Native Americans, Terry will be participating in a re-enactment of the Battle of Little Bighorn this weekend. Get the Story:
