Large dinosaur found in Africa

JUNE 1, 2001 Research published in today's issue of Science details the find of a University of Pennsylvania team who have uncovered the remains of an extremely large dinosaur in the Egyptian desert. The herbivore lived 90 million years ago and weighed up to 70 tons. It is the second largest ever found and is previously unknown to scientists. Get the Story:
