Fewer minorities apply to school

Minority freshman applicants to the University of Northern Colorado are down 18 percent, a drop attributed to an increase in admissions standards.

Solomon Little Owl, director of Native American Student Services at the Greeley campus, says the school is taking opportunities away from students.
