MAY 2, 2000

The Tulsa Cherokee Community Organization will begin offering classes to keep the Cherokee language and culture alive. They will be held on Tuesdays at 7PM in the library in Broken Arrow, on Thursdays at 7PM in the Maxwell Library, and on Fridays at 7PM at the Indian Methodist Church. The tribe hopes the Cherokee Nation can help fund the program.
