MARCH 9, 2001 Tribes throughout the country concluded a two-day gathering with historians on Thursday about how best to care for repatriated artifacts. The conference, held in Omaha, Nebraska, included a presentation on how to preserve historic items. Participants also dicussed how to preserve other aspects of their culture, including language. Finding funding to undertake such projects was a top concern of attendees. Get the Story:
