An editorial in today's issue of The Minneapolis Star Tribune says the community should help African-American and American Indian students improve their standardized test scores.

School officials in Minneapolis released the results of state and national test scores of its students. African-American and Indian students had lower test scores than others and the paper says preschool programs, more community involvement, and help for the neediest students is required to improve their performance.
