Fire uncovers new sites

The recent fire in the Sequoia National Forest this past summer has revealed hundreds of Indian sites that scientists say are helping refine their view of history.

Some of the sites are as old as 3,000 years old. Pictographs, artifacts, and other items reveal widespread travel and trade, they say.
