JANUARY 16, 2001 Janine Pease Pretty on Top was removed on Saturday as President of the Little Big Horn College on the Crow Reservation in Montana. Enrolled tribal members who attended the council meeting voted 682-90 to remove Pretty on Top, thus ending an almost two-month struggle over the college's leadership. Critics of Pretty on Top said she abused her power and refused performance evaluations but students who supported her said the college saw improvements under her tenure. Get the Story:
