JANUARY 11, 2001 Officials at the Little Big Horn College on the Crow Reservation in Montana on Wednesday met to discuss the positive accreditation rating the school received from the Northwest Association of Colleges’ Commission on Colleges. The college and the tribal council are in the midst of a dispute involving the leadership of the school. Some members of the college's board of trustees want President Janine Pease Pretty On Top to leave while students support her. The tribal council will consider the issue at a meeting on Saturday.
