WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2001 A judge in Wisconsin on Tuesday delayed sentencing of a former State Historical Museum curator convicted of stealing and selling Indian artifacts. Dane County Circuit Judge Moria Krueger would have sentenced David Wooley up to 100 years for pleading guilty to 14 counts of felony theft and three counts of failing to file state tax forms. But Wooley's lawyer said he wasn't prepared, leading Krueger to criticize him and threaten him with contempt of court. Wooley is said to have stolen $100,000 worth of artifacts from the museum.
