FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2001 The Museum of Southwest Native American Jewelry will hold its first in-house exhibit featuring works by Santo Domingo artisans. "Thunderbird Necklaces: A Tribute to the Resourcefulness of Santo Domingo People" will open on January 15 at the museum, which is located in Bernalillo, north of Albuquerque. The museum has a temporary home but has two traveling exhibits making the rounds across the country. A permanent building for the museum is being sought. Get the Story:
