They are the "Invisible Nation," as The Arizona Republic puts it. They are Native actors and actresses.

Native actors and models often only get calls when Western movies are being cast, according to talent agencies in Arizona. There are few film roles in Hollywood for Native actors, according to the Screen Actors Guild.

The Oneida Nation of New York launched a nationwide talent search to try and fix that. Along with partner NBC, the tribe's efforts were praised by Sonny Skyhawk, founder and chairman of American Indians in Film and Television.
