FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2001 A Washington developer has agreed to purchase and move the boyhood home of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix. The home, located in Seattle, was due for destruction by its current owner. An auction to sell the house was held but the buyer decided not to go through with it. So Craig Dieffenbach, a developer and former business manager for Jimi's brother Leon Hendrix, will take the house and turn it into a museum. Hendrix, whose mother was Cherokee, was inducted into the NAMMY Hall of Fame in 1998. More information about the home can be found on eBay at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?
