SEPTEMBER 12, 2000 Vice-Presidential candidate Winona LaDuke will attend the Ninth Annual Feast of Green Corn and Dance this weekend, presenting the Ingrid Washinawatok Memorial Special on Friday. Otherwise known as Schemitzun, the pow-wow of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is in its ninth year and will begin on Thursday and run through Sunday. It is one of the largest in the country, attracting tribes from all over the United States and Canada. Get the Story:
