Blumenthal to investigate more fakes

JUNE 6, 2001 Not content with simply investigating tribes allegedly unworthy of federal recognition, Connecticut Attorney Richard Blumenthal on Tuesday said he will launch an investigation into another very important issue affecting the rights of citizens in his state. Fake movie reviews. Blumenthal said his office has received complaints about the issue. Interestingly enough, though, his announcement comes after Sony Pictures acknowledged some of the promotional material for its movies contained fake positive reviews. No word if Blumenthal will request funds to set up a special office to investigate this problem. Get the Story:
