MAY 4, 2000 The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in New York City will world premiere a documentary about Native American ballerinas today. The one-hour documentary "En Pointe: The Lives and Legacies of Ballet's Native Americans" features Moscelyne Larkin, Maria Tallchief, Rosella Hightower, Marjorie Tallchief and Yvonne Chouteau. All five will attend a special screening Thursday evening along with tribal leaders and Oklahoma and New York officials. A public screening will occur on Saturday. Get the Story:
