MAY 26, 2000 Sarah Penman, a Minneapolis, Minnesota photographer, has 35 photographs of Lakota Rides on display at the Icebox Gallery in Minneapolis. Her pictures capture the Lakota retracing their ancestor's path from Standing Rock to Pine Ridge. The Lakota go on these rides on a regular basis to commemorate that journey. Get the Story:
