APRIL 23, 2001 This is the story of one alternative rock star, picked to live in hogan with an extended Navajo family of 25 members, and how they live and learn and find things ironic. Not really. But Morrissette does indeed travel to the Navajo Nation in the debut of "Music in High Places," a new MTV show featuring musicians performing while high . . . atop mountains, natural landmarks, and in other locales. For her part, Morrisette performs a concert at Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona. The monument was once home to the ancestor's of today's Pueblo peoples. Its now apparently a mid-level, intimate venue at which the Canadian songstress can share her musical vision with the world. Tune in at 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time tonight. Relevant Links:
