New book discusses Pequot Tribe

DECEMBER 15, 2000 A new book by Kim Isaac Eisler examines the history of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, from Colonial times to the present. The book "Revenge of the Pequots: How a Small Native American Tribe Created the World's Most Profitable Casino," will be released in February 2001. Eisler is the editor of the Washingtonian magazine and has authored a biography of former Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan. Eisler was able to interview Vice Chairman Richard "Skip" Hayward for the book. Get the Story:
