MONDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2001 As a young girl, Radmilla Cody dreamed of being the next Whitney Houston. Up for two Native American Music Awards, the former Miss Navajo nation is fulfilling part of her wish and will sing a Navajo version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at this year's ceremony. Houston made famous her version of the anthem, which has been re-released to coincide with Operation Enduring Freedom. Cody's version, as she puts it, comes entirely from a Navajo perspective.
