Indian educators meet for seminar in Mont.

TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2003 The Native American Summer Institute: Plains Indian Culture is taking place this week at Montana State University-Billings. On Monday, participants discussed Montana's Indian For All Act. Passed in 1999, it requires Indian history to be included in the state curricula. But the program has never been fully funded. So students who plan to become educators were told to take matters in their own hands and make sure school boards include more Indian material in their studies. Get the Story:
