MONDAY, JULY 21, 2003 Students at the University of Connecticut's archaeology field school have been digging up the Mashantucket Pequot Reservation. This year, a wooded site has been excavated. Students have uncovered a host of artifacts in and around a 19th century dwelling. Last year, they worked at the tribe's Lake of Isles property, which is currently not held in trust.
