The Suquamish Tribe of Washington is meeting opposition over a proposal to manage a state park where Chief Sealth once lived.

The state is considering returning Old Man House State Park to the tribe. The property has significant cultural and historical value to the tribe.

But non-Indian residents say they don't trust the tribe to run the park. Some have opposed the tribe on a number of fronts, including a recent low-income housing project. Tensions boiled over when Chief Sealth's grave site was desecrated.
