Bush names new interim director at EPA

FRIDAY, JULY 11, 2003 Marianne L. Horinko was named interim director of the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday. Horinko has served as the assistant administrator for solid waste and emergency response. She will hold the interim job until President Bush nominates a replacement for Christine Todd Whitman, who retired late last month. Get the Story:
