Mashantucket Tribe offers building for $1

THURSDAY, JULY 10, 2003 The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has revived a long-standing offer to sell a building to the town of Preston for $1, and to contribute $25,000 to help relocate the structure. The 1920s farmhouse currently houses the tribe's Office of Natural Resources but has been in limbo for several years pending some new development plans The town of Preston has asked to use it for a school building.
