THURSDAY, JULY 10, 2003 A police officer for the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin was captured on Wednesday after shooting a woman and assaulting a man on the reservation. Gregory G. Bork, 37, allegedly shot Crystal L. Chapman, 23, in her right leg during an early-morning confrontation at the home of Michael A. Chevalier, 27. Bork allegedly blamed Chevalier for the failure of his relationship with Chevalier's mother. Bork had been suspended by the tribe last week for his involvement in a domestic violence dispute.
