TUESDAY, JULY 8, 2003

Several bone marrow drives have been scheduled to find a potential donor for Dakota Kwiecinski, a 2-year-old Navajo boy with a rare blood disease.

Beginning July 12, the drives will be held at the All Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque; the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock; and the American Indian Community House in New York City. Drives are being scheduled for Window Rock and Flagstaff in Arizona.

Donors of Navajo, Indian and mixed Indian heritage are particularly sought.
