THURSDAY, JULY 3, 2003 The state of Alaska will open millions of acres of state and Alaska Native corporation lands around Bristol Bay to exploration. Gov. Frank Murkowski (R) added the on-shore area to a five-year oil and gas leasing program at the request of the Bristol Bay Native Corporation.
