Former Navajo medicine man found guilty of rape

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 2003 A jury in New Mexico found a former Navajo medicine man guilty of raping a pregnant woman. Herbert Yazzie Sr., 52, faces up to 15 years in prison for criminal sexual penetration, intimidation of a witness and false imprisonment. On May 17, 2000, he raped a 28-year-old relative who asked him for help in delivering a healthy baby. Get the Story:
