Suit alleges abuse at rural Alaska village church

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 2003 Four men have filed suit against the Catholic Church for alleged sexual abuse at a church in an Alaska village. The men say they were abused at the Church of the Nativity in the village of St. Marys. Rev. Jules Convert, the priest accused, is dead so the men are seeking damages of more than $50,000 each from the Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks and a Jesuit organization in Oregon. Get the Story:
