A Massachusetts judge will be asked to reconsider a ruling that upheld the Gay Head Wampanoag Tribe's sovereignty.

The judge found that the tribe cannot be sued without its consent. A local town is trying to force the tribe to comply with zoning requirements.

The tribe's settlement act states that it will be subject to local laws but didn't waive sovereign immunity, the judge said.
