Police investigating death of ex-tribal judge

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18, 2003 A former Bureau of Indian Affairs judge for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians was found shot to death in his home in North Carolina. Police have arrested his wife and charged her with second-degree murder. Ronnie Ray Hornbuckle, 32, was most recently a paralegal in the tribal prosecutors office. He worked for the domestic violence program. Get the Story:
