The Gila River Tribe of Arizona has purchased slot machine rights from the Zuni Tribe.

The Gila River Tribe operates three casinos while the Zuni Tribe, located in a rural area, does not offer gaming. The deal will allow the Gila River Tribe to obtain 475 machines, an 34 percent increase over its current count, and the Zuni Tribe to benefit from gaming.

The Zuni Tribe is based in New Mexico but owns land in Arizona.
