MONDAY, JUNE 16, 2003 A woman in northern California has been sent to jail twice for feeding deer but she says she won't stop doing it. Thana Minion, who says her father was Nez Perce and her mother was Choctaw and Cherokee, served a 30-day sentence earlier this year. She had violated a probation order stemming from a 1997 conviction for a run-in with hunters. State officials and game experts say feeding animals can lead to overpopulation and disease.
