Pine Ridge pow-wow to honor military troops

FRIDAY, JUNE 13, 2003 Mothers and grandmothers on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota have organized a prayer service and pow-wow for Native American troops. Guests of honor at Saturday's event will include the family of Lori Piestewa, the Hopi woman killed in action in Iraq. The mothers and grandmothers are part of a support group that formed during the war in Iraq. Get the Story:
